"Drivers of Agricultural Change"
Second Quantitative Agricultural and Natural Resources History Conference (AGRICLIOMETRICS II)

The Second Quantitative Agricultural and Natural Resources History Conference (AGRICLIOMETRICS II) is to be held in Zaragoza on 4-5 June, 2015. It will be organized by the University of Zaragoza, with the assistance of colleagues from the University of Pisa and Lund University.

This conference aims to offer scholars working on quantitative agricultural and natural resources history and related issues an opportunity to discuss their work in progress. We welcome papers on topics related to the workshop main theme (‘Drivers of Agricultural Change‘) and any other focused on the use of quantitative techniques for the understanding of relevant problems of agricultural and environmental history. Papers by young scholars are especially welcome.

Anyone wishing to present a paper should send a 500 word abstract by no later than November 15th, 2014 to: vpinilla@unizar.es. Decisions regarding acceptance will be sent out no later than January 15th, 2015. Final versions of the accepted papers are expected by no later than April 30th, 2015. They will be circulated to all participants prior to the meeting and published on the workshop webpage.

The organizers offer a number of grants to cover accommodation and meals costs for graduate students invited to present a paper.
