Ruralia Visiting Scholars Programme 2016–2017
The University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute Visiting Scholars Programme offers experienced scholars in the field of rural studies the opportunity to spend 1–2 months during the academic year 2016–2017 with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers while contributing to the knowledge of the Ruralia Institute. It is expected that the collaboration leads to the preparation and execution of joint research projects.
The Ruralia Institute has two units. One is located in Seinäjoki, Western Finland, the other one in Mikkeli, Eastern Finland. The applicant of the Scholarship is free to come to either of these units in accordance with his/her research interests. The Ruralia Institute supports the stay with a scholarship.
The call for scholarship applications will be open from 1 March until 30 April 2016.
