I am looking for a scholar to serve as commenter for a panel entitled “Gender, Race, and National Identity in Rural Europe and North America.” Papers on this panel will deal with women’s experiences as agricultural producers and reformers in 19th- and 20th-century Europe and North America. The papers on this panel will also consider women’s interactions with their male counterparts in the modern European and North American countryside.
