I am looking for a fourth paper presenter for a panel entitled “Social, Political, and Economic Reform in Rural Europe and North America.” I am also looking for a scholar to serve as commenter for this panel. The proposed paper may deal with any aspect of social, political, or economic reform and may deal with other portions of the globe in addition to Europe or North America, but it should include at least some discussion of European and/or North American history. The historical period discussed is also relatively open but should include at least some consideration of the modern era. If you are interested in participating on this panel as either a paper presenter on commenter, please contact me by 21 September at jellison@ohio.edu and provide your name, title, institutional affiliation, and one-page curriculum vitae. If you are specifically interested in presenting a paper, please include a title and 100-200-word abstract.
